Brayberry’s Asstilbe (barn name: Bennie)
Asstilbe is such a nice ivory! We thought he would mature into a fine herdsire and we were right. His foals are awesome and we have retained 3 of the jennets. Asstilbe was gelded in 2012, reluctantly. We wanted folks to see what a great ivory he is so he joined our show team in 2013 as our newest performance donkey. Below are some shots of Asstilbe (aka Bennie) performing at the River Valley Mule and Donkey show in Shawnee, OK in May 2013. Thanks to Phil, our great friend Kathy Schmitt and Bennie’s trainer Bobbie Ferraro for showing him at his debut show.
And many thanks to Wayne Lyon for showing Asstilbe at the 2013 NMDA National Show @ The Great Celebration Mule and Donkey Show, Shelbyville, TN
PEDIGREE: MGR, Furball Acres, Lil Longears, and Hickory Hills
ATTITUDE: good-natured like his mom, he is “in-your-face” and by far the most loveable donkey in our herd.
We are excited to have his genetics in our ivory herd. We had high hopes for Asstilbe as a herdsire and he did not let us down. We now have high hopes for him in the show ring as our newest performance donkey.
