Brayberry’s Hekan Do Magic

We always look forward to Toffee’s foals.  She has had some very nice ones and several in the show ring from various other farms across the country as well as prominent herdsires. This little fellow was a cutie and had such a surprise color!  Hekan was born red and white spotted (in appearance) but genetically he is brown.  We expect his coloring to be like mom, light to medium brown in color as he looses the foal coat…but he sure was a pretty one right off the bat.

He had some interesting black spots (technically referred to as somatic mutations 🙄 ) that make this little fella unique. Here is a pic showing a couple of them: (you can click on the pic to enlarge to see them better)

ATTITUDE: he was a shy little thing but is coming around as he gets older. He is very sweet.
